Reuters HTML Email Card System

Services Provided: Developed a back-end system for Reuters and Thomson Reuters to create, process, store, send, and retrieve holiday cards to their clients.

Technologies Used: PHP/MySQL for the backend. PHPMailer was used to build and send the emails out.

Rivanna River Resort Website

Services Provided: A simple, clean design for a website detailing the amenities of the resort, showing the design of the condo hotel, map of the grounds, and a means for investors to contact the investor relations board with inquiries about the condo hotel.

Technologies Used: PHP/MySQL with a simple content management system. Password protected areas allow limited dispersal of important documents such as construction plans for bidding and brochure paperwork.

Fidelity / National Financial Trainer

Services Provided: An interative trainer for in-house software at Fidelity Investments. The application guides the user through every important aspect of the software they need with animation and voiceover. Chapter navigation and progress allows the user to control the flow of the application, or return and continue at a later point. At the end of each section, a simple quiz tests the user’s new-found knowledge.

Technologies Used: Adobe Flash CS2 frame-based animation and some simple scripting. The application was to be stand-alone and released on CD.

Sibling Sock’em Flash Game

Services Provided: A promotional game for the Warner Bros. Movie Fred Claus. It allows a player to upload a picture, mask out their face, attach it to a character, then send a request to fight a friend of theirs. The game is a button-mashing fight with a high score report and social-networking aspect.
